(R)-2-((tert-Butoxycarbonyl)amino)pent-4-ynoic acid is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
