ASGR1/ASGPR1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His)

ASGR1/ASGPR1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His), a recombinant human Asialoglycoprotein Receptor 1 produced in HEK293 cells, has a His tag. Asialoglycoprotein receptor 1 is a specific cell-surface marker for isolating hepatocytes derived from human pluripotent stem cells^[1].

Asialoglycoprotein receptor 1 (ASGR1) has long been recognized as a hepatic surface marker and has been used to identify circulating hepatocellular carcinoma cells, purify hPSC-derived hepatocyte-like cells (HLCs) and to demonstrate the efficiency of HLC differentiation from hPSCs. ASGR1 marks a subset of albumin-positive HLCs, which are more similar than unpurified cells to mature hepatocytes^[1].

Stored at -20°C for 2 years. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
