Cat. No.: HY-P72927
SDS COA Handling Instructions

The CD64 protein is a high-affinity receptor for the immunoglobulin gamma Fc region and plays a key role in innate and adaptive immune responses. It prevents FCGR1A degradation by interacting with FCERG1 and FLNA to form a functional signaling complex. CD64 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His-Avi) is the recombinant mouse-derived CD64 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Avi, C-His labeled tag. The total length of CD64 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His-Avi) is 273 a.a., with molecular weight of 45-50 kDa.

Background

CD64 Protein emerges as a high-affinity receptor specifically designed for the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma, playing a pivotal role in both innate and adaptive immune responses. Its dynamic functionality extends to forming a functional signaling complex through interaction with FCERG1. Additionally, CD64 interacts with FLNA, preventing FCGR1A degradation, and engages with EPB41L2, LAT, and PPL in intricate cellular processes. Furthermore, this receptor establishes connections with HCK and LYN, showcasing its versatility and involvement in various signaling cascades critical for immune system modulation.

Biological Activity

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized CD64 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His-Avi) at 10 μg/mL (100 μl/well) can bind human IgG1 and the EC50 is 0.07-0.15 μg/mL. Labeled biotin to CD64 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His-Avi) by a certain molar ratio; Using the Octet RED System, the affinity constant (Kd) of CD64 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His-Avi) bound to IgG1 Antibody was 5.6 nM.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.

The reconstitution calculator equation

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration
= ÷

The dilution calculator equation

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)

This equation is commonly abbreviated as: C1V1 = C2V2

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)
× = ×
C1   V1   C2   V2

The specific activity calculator equation

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)
Unit/mg = 106 ÷ ng/mL
