Ribonuclease T1 forms a nucleoside 2′, 3′-cyclic phosphate intermediate to cleave the phosphodiester bond between the 3′-guanosine residue and the 5′-OH group of the adjacent nucleoside to produce a 3′-GMP-terminated oligonucleotide. This product does not contain ingredients of animal origin.
