Inactive VLDLR forms oligomers with LRP8, but upon ligand binding, it rearranges to transmit the extracellular RELN signal via DAB1 phosphorylation, regulating neuron positioning. VLDLR also acts as a stop signal for migrating neurons and serves as a receptor for Semliki Forest virus during microbial infection. VLDLR Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived VLDLR protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-His labeled tag.
