    LPS, from bacterial (Klebsiella pneumoniae)

    Toll-like Receptor (TLR) Inflammation/Immunology
Lipopolysaccharides, from Klebsiella, are lipopolysaccharide endotoxins. Lipopolysaccharides, from Klebsiella pneumoniae, consist of three parts: lipid A, core oligosaccharide, and O-specific antigen or O-side chain. In smooth LPS, the core region is divided into two areas: the inner core near the lipid A and the outer core that provides attachment sites for the O-antigen. In the lipopolysaccharide of Klebsiella pneumoniae, the l,d-HeppII at the O-3 position can be replaced by an α-d-galacturonic acid residue (α-d-GalpA). In most studied Enterobacteriaceae, the core LPS contains inner core phosphorylation modifications, but the core LPS of Klebsiella pneumoniae lacks this modification. The unique core structure plays an important role in the outer membrane permeability and pathogenesis of Klebsiella pneumoniae .

    Endogenous Metabolite Metabolic Disease
Galactose 1-dehydrogenase, pseudomonas fluorescens is a dehydrogenase expressed in Pseudomonas fluorescens. Galactose 1-dehydrogenase, pseudomonas fluorescens catalyzes the oxidation of L-arabinose and D-galactose using NADP +/NAD + as a cofactor. Galactose 1-dehydrogenase, pseudomonas fluorescens can be used in diagnostic tests to measure total galactose content and can also act as a biocatalyst for producing galacturonic acid salts .

    UDP-α-D-glucuronic acid

    Endogenous Metabolite Metabolic Disease
Uridine diphosphate glucuronic acid (UDP-α-D-glucuronic acid) is a cofactor that is formed by the catalytic activity of UDP-glucose dehydrogenase. Uridine diphosphate glucuronic acid is a central precursor in sugar nucleotide biosynthesis and common substrate for C4-epimerases and decarboxylases releasing UDP-galacturonic acid (UDP-GalA) and UDP-pentose products, respectively. Uridine diphosphate glucuronic acid as a glucuronic acid donor, can be used for for the research of the conjugation of bilirubin in the endoplasmic recticulum .
