In Vitro

For fluorescence assay with 3,7-Dihydroxyflavone and HSA, a stock solution of 3,7-Dihydroxyflavone was prepared in methanol with a final methanol concentration of less than 4% (v/v). Note that the pH of the phosphate buffer solution was adjusted to 3.5 and 7.4 with NaOH or H3PO4 solutions. The ionic strength of the solution was maintained at 0.1 M using NaCl solution. The experimental temperature was 25°C[1].
Isopentenyl derivatives of 3,7-Dihydroxyflavone can inhibit tumor cell growth and proliferation and induce apoptosis[2].
