VISTA

V-domain Ig suppressor of T cell activation (VISTA)

V-domain immunoglobulin suppressor of T cell activation (VISTA) is a novel inhibitory immune checkpoints (ICs) that is expressed on myeloid cells, lymphoid cells, and tumoral cells; therefore, VISTA can substantially regulate innate and

adaptive anti-tumoral immune responses. VISTA is a transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of antitumor immunity. Therapeutic intervention that inhibits the VISTA pathway constitutes a new approach in the treatment of cancer.
