Description

Ani9 is an ANO1 inhibitor, with an IC50 of 77 nM. Ani9 can inhibit smooth muscle contractions in mice and is applicable in research related to diseases such as tumors[1][2][3].

In Vitro

Ani9 (0-30 μM, 20 min) does not affect the increase of cytoplasmic calcium induced by ATP in FRT cells[1].
Ani9 (1-10 μM, 20 min) inhibits ANO1[1].
Ani9 (0.03-10 μM, 20 min) inhibits CaCC current in PC3, Capan-1, and NHNE cells in a dose-dependent manner, with an IC50 of 110 nM[1].
Ani9 (0-10 μM, 24 h) highly expresses ANO1 in PC3 cells[2].
Ani9 (0.01-10 μM, 48 h) inhibits weakly in prostate cancer, breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer cells[2].
Ani9 (1 μM) inhibits Ca2+-activated Cl- (Clca) in portal vein smooth muscle of Cav1-KO mice[3].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
