Disuccinimidyl sulfoxide  (Synonyms: DSSO)

Disuccinimidyl sulfoxide (DSSO) is a mass spectrometry (MS)-cleavable cross-linker that is applicable for model peptides and proteins and a multisubunit protein complex. Disuccinimidyl sulfoxide contains two symmetric collision-induced dissociation (CID)-cleavable sites for identification of DSSO-cross-linked peptides based their distinct fragmentation patterns^[1].
