In Vitro

INF 195 (0.1-100 μM, 72 h) can inhibit NLRP3 driven macrophage pyroptosis and IL-1 β release[1].
INF 195 (5-10 μM, 10 min) can reduce the infarct size of isolated mouse hearts at low doses, effectively preventing myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury[1].
INF 195 (10 μ M) is an ethyl ester prodrug of the active metabolite 3- (3- (2-chlorophenyl) propyl) piperidine-1 carboxylic acid, which can penetrate into H9c2 cardiomyocytes and be hydrolyzed into this active metabolite[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
