Asparanin A is an apoptosis inducer with anticancer activity. Asparanin A induces cell cycle arrest in the G0/G1 phase through mitochondria and PI3K/AKT signaling pathways, inhibiting cancer cell growth. Asparanin A also demonstrated in vivo efficacy in a mouse xenograft model of Ishikawa endometrial carcinoma, significantly inhibiting tumor growth.

Help & FAQs
  • Why are the cells in poor condition after PolyFast transfection?

PolyFast has certain cytotoxicity, and it is normal for cell viability to decrease after transfection. Cells with a density of 70-90%, exponential phase, and a survival rate greater than 90% can be used for transfection.

  • Can PolyFast be used to transduce RNA?

Yes, RNA transfection can be performed by referring to the DNA transfection method.

  • Can I use complete medium for transfection?

No, serum and antibiotics will affect the stability of the transfection complex. It is recommended to use a basal culture medium that does not contain serum or antibiotics.

  • Do I need to change the culture medium after transfection?

If necessary, the culture medium containing serum and antibiotics can be replaced 6 hours after transfection.

  • Can PolyFast be used to transfect suspension cells?

Generally, it is recommended that you use a transfection reagent specifically for suspension cells. We have not verified the transfection effect of suspension cells yet. If you want to use this kit to transfect suspension cells, you can try to reduce the shaking speed after transfection to promote full contact between the PolyFast-DNA complex and the cells, increase the uptake rate, and avoid cell sedimentation, aggregation or hypoxia. After transfection for 6 hours, you can increase the shaking speed to the normal speed.
