    MCE Basement Membrane Matrix IPSC-qualified is primarily composed of natural basement membrane matrix extracted from mouse tumors. This product is mainly used for stem cells culture.

    Storage

    -20°C, 2 years.

    Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

    Protocol
    Thin Coating Method.

    For iPSC expansion: Dilute with pre-cooled medium according to experimental needs after thawing. It is recommended that the concentration be no less than 0.1 mg/mL. Aspirate the appropriate amount of dilution to completely cover the surface of the cell culture plate, the recommended amount of coating is 0.01-0.02 mg/cm2. Place the plate at 37 ℃ and incubate for 1h, aspirate the supernatant to use.

    Sandwich Coating Method.

    For stem cell differentiation: After Thin Coating Method, when the cells are grown to a suitable state, the supernatant is aspirated off and matrix dilution is added to the cell surface to completely cover the surface of the cell culture plate and shaken well. Incubate the plate at 37 ℃ for 1h, aspirate off the supernatant, and add the appropriate medium to the plate.

     

    Note: When thawing the product for the first time, immerse the vial in crushed ice and place it in a 4°C to melt. After melting, mix thoroughly before aliquoting, and then store at -20°C.

    • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

      Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
