How ITC Works

The microcalorimeter constantly measures these heat changes, which are plotted as a titration curve. Information such as affinity (KD), stoichiometric ratio (n), enthalpy change (ΔH) and entropy change (ΔS) of molecular interactions can be obtained through ITC experiments.
