Description

Potassium 2-carboxybenzoate is a biochemical reagent that can be used as a biological material or organic compound for life science related research.

In Vitro

As a primary standard for preparing volumetric alkaline solutions and as a buffer in pH determinations. Potassium hydrogen phthalate is used as a primary standard for acid-base titrations as well as for calibrating pH meters. It acts as a buffer in pH determination .It finds application as a useful standard for total organic carbon testing.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
