Description

STAT6-IN-2 (Compound R-84) is a STAT6 inhibitor that can inhibit the tyrosine phosphorylation of STAT6. STAT6-IN-2 can also inhibit the secretion of eotaxin-3. STAT6-IN-2 can be used in the research of immune diseases and allergic inflammatory diseases such as asthma[1].

In Vitro

STAT6-IN-2 (10 μM; 24 h) inhibits IL-4-induced Eotaxin-3 secretion in the bronchial epithelial cell line BEAS-2B, with an IC50 of 2.74 μM[1].
STAT6-IN-2 (10 μM; 7 h) inhibits IL-4-induced STAT6 tyrosine phosphorylation in 293-EBNA cells[1].

  • Protocol 1

    Add each solvent one by one:  10% DMSO    90% Corn Oil

    Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (5.32 mM); Clear solution

    This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (saturation unknown). If the continuous dosing period exceeds half a month, please choose this protocol carefully.

    Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (25.0 mg/mL) to 900 μL Corn oil, and mix evenly.
