Description

MC3138 is a selective SIRT5 activator. MC3138 has antitumor activity on human PDAC cells, with IC50 values of 25.4-236.9 μM. MC3138 combined with Gemcitabine (HY-17026) significantly inhibits tumor growth in mice[1].

In Vitro

MC3138 (10 μM, 24 h) decreases lysine acetylation of the GOT1 protein and inhibits its enzymatic activity in PDAC cells[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
