Description

Thalidomide-5,6-F is the Thalidomide-based cereblon ligand used in the recruitment of CRBN protein. Thalidomide-5,6-F can be connected to the ligand for protein by a linker to form PROTACs[1].

IC50 & Target[1]

Cereblon

In Vitro

PROTACs contain two different ligands connected by a linker; one is a ligand for an E3 ubiquitin ligase and the other is for the target protein. PROTACs exploit the intracellular ubiquitin-proteasome system to selectively degrade target proteins[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
