In Vitro

L-Homocysteine (0.5, 1, 2 mM; 24 h) increases the mRNA and protein levels of Cathepsin V in a dose‐dependent manner[2].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Western Blot Analysis[2]

Cell Line: HUVECs
Concentration: 0.5, 1, 2 mM
Incubation Time: 24 h
Result: Increased the mRNA and protein levels of Cathepsin V in a dose‐dependent manner.
In Vivo

L-Homocysteine can be used in animal modeling to construct a model of vascular endothelial inflammation.

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
